✨ FACULTY SPOTLIGHT: APRIL JAMERSON ✨
We’re so excited to introduce April Fry Jamerson as a faculty member at The Austin Dance Conservatory!

With more than 35 years of experience as a performer, educator, choreographer, studio owner, and mentor, April has dedicated her life to helping dancers discover their potential and develop a deeper appreciation for the arts.
Born in Minerva, Ohio, April began dancing at a young age and went on to earn a Dean’s Scholarship to the prestigious Ohio University School of Dance, graduating Summa Cum Laude with highest distinction. Her professional career took her from Southern California to stages and studios around the world, including teaching and performing internationally from Nairobi, Kenya, to the Grand Theater of Ephesus.
April has also devoted much of her career to making quality dance education accessible to young people, including developing youth outreach programs that served hundreds of children in Compton, California.
Now, April brings her passion, experience, and vision to The Austin Dance Conservatory as Executive Director. April is passionate about watching dancers grow and develop, and especially loves helping them become educators and mentors for the next generation. She can’t wait to see the lasting legacy ADC will create together.

Help us celebrate Ms. April! 👏
