The unique design catches the water that gets. Through the filter and drains it out the channels on the bottom. With 2.8 times the surface area as the stock opening means no. Air flow restriction even with frogskin screen.

The TNT high flow inlet filter for 22-24 pro R is designed to increase air flow to clutch cover and reduce any debris. This unique design stops more water than anything on the market. It’s designed to sit in angle so that any water that makes its way through the frog skin (tm) is captured in a catch tray with two drain slots, greatly minimizing any water into the inlet tube.
It will fit with most aftermarket hood covers and will fit with stock hood cover with slight modification to stock cover.
The cover was designed with 2.8 times the surface area as the stock inlet opening there for creating no flow restriction compared to stock unprotected opening.
Slip on with two set screws to secure in place.
To install, just lightly file the edges of the stock inlet tube giving an inside and outside radius to help guide the tube into the slot. Easy way to install is to start in one of the tight radius corners and work it down in a counter clockwise direction. This way the stock tube which usually slightly deformed can be guided by the channel. Once all the way down just tighten the two set screws carefully and you’re all set.
