My recipe book has over 200 colors for various types of baits some require 3 laminates in one bait but the simplicity of this bait and color in Texas is the top bait of choice without a doubt. Keeping it simple.

When shore fishing it’s best to bring two rods just in case you hit a bush when you’re making a cast.

The local pond never disappoints. The weather is still hot. Once we get to Fall conditions the shop will reopen and we will get the orders filled.

A tribute to Don Hare
As I reflect on our cherished friendship, I find myself overwhelmed by the countless hours and days that Don and I spent on the water, engaged in pre-fishing, having fun, participating in fishing tournaments, and even achieving championships together. There wasn't a single day where we didn't eagerly anticipate our time on the water.

Lake Mead, in particular, always shattered any doubts we had about the water conditions being pristine. The attached video perfectly captures the unparalleled moments of serenity and perfection we experienced. Out of all the times we spent on the water, I genuinely believe that this was Don's magical moment, a memory that will forever remain etched in my heart.

I can vividly recall the profound awe in his eyes as he turned to me and exclaimed, "Wow, just wow. This is what it's all about." And I wholeheartedly shared in his sentiment. It encapsulated the very essence of our shared passion and reminded us of why we were drawn to the water.

I hope you are enjoying many more pristine days on the water, my dear friend, catching abundant kickers and relishing the beauty of nature. May your soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that our memories and shared experiences will forever hold a special place in my heart.
