5yo 16.1 bay TB gelding.
“Riley” is a kind youngster ready to find his person. Riley was restarted as a 3yo old and brought along carefully learning ground work and correct flatwork basics.
He has been to many clinics and schooling shows off property and is the same horse as he is at home. He requires zero prep and happily goes into the ring and does his job. He has shown up to 2’6 with plenty of jump to go higher. He has three comfortable gaits and will WTC on a loose rein.
Hacks out quietly alone or with others and has even worked cattle!
If you’re looking for a quiet gentle youngster to bring along, Riley is your guy. Would be suitable for an adult amateur or junior to bring along.

“Woodford”
16.2 3yo Bay TB gelding

Woodford is an unraced gelding ready to go any direction.
Has been started lightly over fences and has proven to be brave and honest to the jumps. We have put him over small colorful boxes and logs and he jumps every time.
Woodford is a quiet and uncomplicated ride and has hacked all over the property by himself. He comes out the same horse each day.
He did his first schooling show this summer where he competed in the very green hunters. He’s got plenty of stride to get down the lines. We feel he would make a beautiful hunter.

Exciting day at the farm testing out our new Blue Infinite saddle from Voltaire Design! Not only is it incredibly comfortable, but it fits our wide range of horses. Sonnet was the first to test it out, and he approved! Thank you team Voltaire for fitting Katrina and the horses for this beautiful saddle! 🐴🙌🏻 ⬜️🟫🟦

This past weekend Alicia and Melanie had a great time teaching a clinic at Old Barrington Farm, a hunter jumper stable just outside of Chicago. Thank you Sarah Winter, and Amelia and Joyce Mccardle for organizing it and sharing your students. It was fun to introduce groundwork to their riders and show them how to incorporate it into their every day riding and jumping!

Melanie and Katrina had a spectacular weekend in Wellington attending the CSIO4* Nations Cup and Show Jumping Hall of Fame induction gala. Melanie, along with others members of SJHF, gathered to honor this years inductees Linda Allen and Anthony D’Ambrosio!
