Proud APE Baseball Family ⚾️❤️

There are moments as a coach that make all the long hours, early mornings, hot summer days, travel, practices, and sacrifices worth it — and THIS is one of those moments. ❤️⚾️

Coach Eddie and Coach Henry started coaching these young men through the APE Baseball organization when many of them were just 8 years old. We watched them grow from little boys learning the game into 18- and 19-year-old young men who will now begin playing college baseball in the next couple of days/weeks.

And what makes this year so incredibly special is seeing this group of APE players enter college baseball while last year’s group is now beginning their second year of college ball. Together, these two classes represent the incredible legacy of all the players Coach Eddie and Coach Henry have coached who have gone on to play at the next level.

And to make it even more amazing… one of those APE players was drafted into MLB! 🔥

We couldn’t be more proud of every single one of you. Watching your journey from 8 years old to college athletes has been an absolute honor. You have worked, battled, grown, and earned every opportunity in front of you.

To this year’s incoming college baseball players: GO SHOW THEM WHAT APE IS MADE OF! 💪🏼⚾️

To last year’s class beginning Year 2: Keep grinding and keep making us proud!

And to every APE player who has worn our uniform and gone on to play at the next level — this is your legacy.

Coach Eddie and Coach Henry are so proud of you all and so excited to watch what comes next. The journey that started when you were little boys has taken you farther than we could have imagined.

Andrew Gonzalez started playing with APE Baseball in the summer of 2017 at 9 years old. Went on to have an incredible high school career at Americas High School and today at the age of 18, signed with the New York Yankees. It's every young baseball players dream. Andrew was drafted this weekend right out of high school to play for one of the best MLB organizations. All his hard work has paid off and he's living the dream. It can happen boys! He's proof. Congratulations Andrew. We are so very proud of you and can't wait to see you on the biggest stage.

2021 USSSA Arizona Spring Training I Runner Up

Only their 2nd tournament of 2021 and they're bringing home some bling after battling all the way back to the championship game today.

Way to play APE.

Our 12u APE Nationals are Champions of this weekend's USSSA Fall Brawl going 4-0! Boys played super tough, had a no-hitter on Friday and their hard work and perseverance paid off today. Matthew pitched a phenomenal Championship game and was hands down MVP!

So fun to watch! Keep grinding boys!
