Veterans Day Basketball Camp – Tuesday, Nov. 11!
Join us for a fun one-day camp led by the High School Varsity Coaches at Learning Foundation & Performing Arts in Gilbert (3939 E Warner Rd).
Players will sharpen skills, compete, and have a blast learning from some of the area’s best coaches.

🚨 Parents — We Need to Talk About Club Sports 🚨

Club sports can be great… but the current year-round, pay-to-play, travel every weekend model? It’s breaking families and burning out kids.

💸 The Cost: Thousands per year for most families. Very few will ever see a scholarship that even comes close to covering it.
🏠 The Time Away: One parent at tournaments, the other home with siblings. Family time? Gone.
🔥 The Burnout: Kids specializing too early are getting injured, losing the joy, and quitting before high school is even over.
💼 The Business: Many clubs are for-profit — the earlier they get your child in, the more years they can cash your checks.

✅ The better path? Let kids play multiple sports. Keep it seasonal. Let them be kids. Build skills, friendships, and memories — not debt and resentment.
