Well this is embarrassing…
If you haven’t noticed I’ve been trying to get more active on instagram and post useful content to help as many struggling dads and parents as I can with their fitness journey.
Should I post another “3 tips to get faster results in the gym” or “5 high protein meals you can make in 5 min or less”.
While useful I don’t see how these posts will connect with you guys. How can I connect on deeper level?
Insert this “dadbod” post.
Here it is. Definitely not where I’d like to be and definitely not something I want to post for the world to see. I’m not in bad shape by any means but this body needs a touch up.
It’s built from long hours of selfless work, the weekly trips to “In N Out”, and it runs on more caffeine than humanly possible just ask my heart palpitations 😂
So I’m putting it out there I’m another struggling busy dad just trying to be the best for my family.
I need more energy to keep up with my crazy boys Dylan and Aaron. And to practice my dance moves with McKenzie!
How did I go from ripped 12% body fat on “75 hard” to this? Well it didn’t take much it’s a thing called “LIFE”.
Where do I go from here? Do I start another crazy workout regimen like “75 Hard” or another fad diet? No, that s**t didn’t work obviously.
Why don’t I use a proven system? Why don’t I use the same system I’ve used with countless clients to get them to build muscle and lose hundreds of pounds?
The same system that they keep doing because it’s sustainable and they can do it for the rest of their lives!
Why don’t I use my online 12 week program I plan on sharing to everyone and prove that it works?
Well that’s exactly what I plan to do!
Stay tuned and check back on here the next few weeks as I plan to rebuild this dad bod and prove that it can be done even with a busy hectic life of the greatest job ever known to mankind a dad. 👨
