Swimmer spotlight- Cecilia was the only Wavemaker to get 1st place in an event yesterday and she did it in all 3 of her individual events!! Cecilia is a good friend to her teammates, always cheering, and an all around great competitor! At 8 years old, Cecilia just finished her 4th season with the Wavemakers, and currently competes in the 8 and Under age group! Cecilia came in 1st place in the 25 Freestyle with a time of 16:15, the 100 IM with a time of 1:40.93, and 50 free with a time of 37.66. She also was a medley relay swimmer on a team that placed 3rd, and a freestyle relay on a team that placed 2nd! Cecilia will swim next in the 9-10 age group! Congratulations Cecilia! We wish you continued success!

Senior swim - yesterday we were able to honor our 1 senior swimmer! Sabine has been a competitive swimmer for 8 years, and a Wavemakers for 4 years! She is also a 3 sport athlete at Plymouth Regional High School! Sabine plans to attend Rivier University in the fall! We wish you the best of luck Sabine!

For the past 2 days swimmers have competed at the NH Swim Association Championships- the Wavemakers had a great meet with several swimmers getting a personal best time! And recording 28 top 10 individual swims! And several top relay finishes!
Congratulations Wavemakers!!!

Lakes Region Wavemakers Give Back!
Earlier this year 25 swimmers age 5 to 18 participated in a 1 hour swim where they swam as may laps as the could in 1 hour. They raised funds for their swim either a value per lap or a lump sum. This year the 25 swimmers swam a total of 34.19 miles in the 1 hour! They raised a total of $4581.
The Wavemakers choose local organizations to give a portion of their funds to, this year they chose Plymouth State Swimming and Dive Team, and Pemi Youth Center.
They had a blast hanging out with the PSU swimmers last week, and learning more about the Youth Center today!

Today 3 Wavemakers competed in the UVAC 14u Pentathlon! Congratulations to Cecilia who placed 2nd in the 8 & under age group, and to Kendall who placed 4th and Lucy who placed 12th in the 11-12 age group.

Today and tomorrow Kendall attends the New England Age Group Championships! In this meet you swim in the morning and then the top 20 swim in the finals in the evening. Good luck! Swim fast!

Today 4 Wavemakers who swim for their High School teams as well as with the Wavemakers will be swimming in the NH State Swim Meet. Good Luck Elise & Nate swimming for Gilford and Kain & Sabine swimming for Plymouth.

Our Wavemakers had a successful weekend at Silvers with many best times and ribbons. A special shout out to Kendall who had an amazing swim for her 50 Back and decidedly qualified for the 11-12 year old Age Group Championships! Congratulations to Kendall for her hard work and dedication to achieve her goals! We will be cheering you on to Boston!

Today and tomorrow the Wavemakers are swimming at the Bronze Championships. This is a meet that you need to have a qualifying time for, 20 Wavemakers qualified this year! Good luck Wavemakers! Swim fast, Have Fun!!
