Gilford’s Weeks Bandstand 50th Anniversary

The Gilford Weeks Bandstand is a local landmark that celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. Named in honor of one of Gilford’s oldest and most prominent families, it was planned by Prescott Lumber Company and dedicated on August 29, 1976. It was built on the Gilford Village Field in honor of the U.S. Bicentennial. Funded by a $15,000 town appropriation, it was built by Bob Swett, a local contractor. In 1978 the Gilford Community Band was established and uses the bandstand for its summer concerts.

🚧 Temporary Parking Lot Closure – Pickleball Courts

The front parking lot at the Gilford Pickleball Courts will be closed Thursday and Friday (July 30 & 31) while crews regrade around the front of the rink/courts.

✅ The pickleball courts will remain OPEN.

🅿️ Please use the parking lot to the left of the rink/courts during the closure.

The ice rink pickleball courts are ready to be used! We’ve got 4 of the 5 nets set up. Come down and enjoy!
