Here's a cool piece of history! So back in the day(when they were made) around 1950s Heddon would mark some research boxes and send with their salesman to put them in the hands of people who would try them out and sometimes report back what they thought about the model or color for their area! Some colors were shortlived, others mass produced. Think of it as an early r&d method!

Lure of the day! This is the Jitterbug, courtesy of Fred Arbogast. This top water lure is a great time tested topwater lure that commands respect in any waters it is used! Night time or early morning is best. Plastic lure with predecessor made from before WW2 out of wood. To the most recent plastic bodies made available by modern company Pradco Outdoor Brands!
