Alt Dressage

I’ve been keeping a secret👀👀👀
I am absolutely thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Alt Dressage team, Olé!
This handsome boy represents an incredible opportunity, and the beginning of what I hope will be a very special partnership. I am beyond excited to get to know him and see what the future has in store for us! None of this would be possible without Kathia Herrera and Rojelio Viramontez, Olé’s wonderful owners, whose extraordinary generosity, trust, and belief in me have made this partnership possible. To have people who believe in my goals and are willing to invest in my future as a rider and trainer means more than I can adequately put into words. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to develop and compete this special horse, and so excited for everything we hope to accomplish together!
I’d also like to extend a sincere thank you to California Lusitanos and Paulo Jorge Ferreira Its easy to see and feel how much has gone into producing this horse, and I’m beyond blessed to continue with him.
There are so many people who make opportunities like this possible, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful team behind us.
Here’s to new beginnings, big dreams, and exciting possibilities.
Ride with gratitude, always💜

We headed to American Sporthorse on Sunday for their final show of the year, bringing three horses along for a great day in the ring!

🌟 Elliot & Bosley had a great day at First Level, earning 64% and 65% in Test 1-3 and qualifying for next year’s JR/YR Championships!
🌟 Kyla & Arrayan took their Fourth Level Freestyle out for one final spin, earning a respectable 66%!
🌟 Kyla Schnell & Olivia Rojo joined Team AD to catch ride Kathia Herrera’s Ringo Star at Training Level, and we couldn’t be prouder of the three of them. The girls had only met Ringo in the warm-up before their tests, and we are so pleased with how well the girls rode him! It’s a pretty special thing to see our horses go out and be successful with different riders.

So proud of this crew and all the work that goes into getting here! A huge thank you to American Sporthorse , the show staff, and volunteers— these shows are well run and we love coming out!

Low quality stills of a high quality weekend💜

We had a great time at the GAIG USDF Region 7 Dressage Championships and 59th Annual California Dressage Society State Championships, and it was such a fun way to wrap up our 2026 season. Between showing and cheering on both new and old friends from home and all over the state, there was plenty to celebrate all weekend.

🏅 Kyla & Arrayan LAM competed in the CDS Open 4th Level HOY and USDF Open 4th Level Regional Championship, and finished the weekend with a Reserve Championship in the CDS Open 4th Level Freestyle with their self-made freestyle.

🏅 Elliot & Joy Boszorg had a fantastic championship show, earning 3rd in the State for both the CDS JR/YR Training Level and First Level Championships, along with competing in the CDS 14–18 Dressage Seat Equitation. Even more exciting considering Elliot only stepped up to First Level in July!

Championship weekends are always special, but getting to share them with so many friends and cheer each other on makes them that much more fun. Thank you to California Dressage Society United States Dressage Federation Murieta Equestrian Center and show management for putting on such a well-run championship show. We had a wonderful weekend and are already looking forward to the next one! For now, we’re heading into a busy clinic season, with a few fall shows on the calendar before hunkering down for the winter.

This weekend’s show recap is skipping the line! I may be a little behind on my show posts this year, but this weekend was just too good to wait for chronological order. We had a great weekend at the Woodside Dressage Show’s Picnic at the Park, and it was a treat to enjoy the beautiful weather, great rides, and cheering on so many of our friends in our local dressage community.
🏅Elliot & Bosley put together fabulous Training Level rides all weekend, earning all three of their qualifying scores for the Annual Show, and claimed Saturday’s High Point Champion in the Jr/YR Training through Second Level division
🏅 Kyla & Arrayan had consistent Prix St. Georges rides, secured the final score for Kyla’s USDF Silver Medal in just their second outing at the level, and earned Reserve High Point in the Open FEI division both days
🏅 Donna & Galileo danced their way through the weekend with their Third Level Freestyle, earning great scores and entertaining the crowd in Friday’s Evening Freestyle Class💃🏻

Thank you to The Horse Park at Woodside Official show management and staff for another fantastic show weekend. We always enjoy showing here, and I am already looking forward to coming back next month!

I think we said everything necessary last June, but here’s a reminder that horses and dressage are for all, and in this house we celebrate Pride💜🏳️‍🌈🦄
