As we approach our 1 year anniversary we can’t help but to reflect on all we’ve accomplished and grown within this last year. What started out as a COOP (iykyk) has grown into a community rooted in one goal, to help people move and feel better through the gift of Pilates.
We’ve been blessed to have the community, instructors, and connections that we’ve built over this last year.. we can’t wait to share with you whats next!

No, really.
Not because I was sick.
Because sitting down hurt!
Not the “I had a great workout yesterday” kind of sore.
The “Oh my gosh... that’s a long way down.” kind of sore!
The “I beat myself up at the gym!” Sore.
I was working out so hard that I thought being in pain meant I was making progress. I believed that if I wasn’t sore, I wasn’t working hard enough.
So I pushed harder.
Worked out longer.
Ignored what my body was trying to tell me.
Looking back, I wasn’t getting stronger—I was just beating myself up.
What I know now is this:
The best workouts aren’t built on exhaustion. They’re built on consistency.
The workouts that change your body are the ones you can keep coming back to.
The ones that make you stronger without leaving you dreading the stairs the next day.
The ones that improve your posture, your balance, your mobility, and your confidence—not just your sweat level.
That’s one of the reasons I fell in love with Pilates.
It taught me that movement can heal instead of hurt. That strength comes from quality, not punishment. That you don’t have to earn your results by destroying your body.
If your workout leaves you feeling accomplished, energized, and ready to come back again tomorrow, that’s a win.
Because the best exercise program isn’t the hardest one.
It’s the one you can do consistently for years to come.

There will always be value in both the reformer and the mat. Which is better? They both have their unique benefits.
Our Mat Pilates classes are perfect for those looking to build a strong foundation through bodyweight movement, core control, and body awareness.
Our Reformer Pilates classes offer the same focus on foundational movement, with the added support and resistance of the reformer to help guide your movement while still providing a rewarding challenge.
The best part? We offer both at the foundational level, so you can begin in the environment that feels right for your body and your goals.
🤔Still not sure where to start?
📥DM us ‘ FOUNDATION’ , and we’ll help you find the class that’s the best fit for you.
Nobody walks into their first Pilates class knowing exactly what they’re doing, and that’s okay.
Every experienced Pilates student was once the beginner wondering if they were breathing correctly, why their legs were shaking, and how something that looked so simple felt so challenging.
The good news? Those feelings are completely normal. In fact, they’re often signs that you’re learning, growing, and connecting with your body in a new way.
At P31 we’re here to make sure you feel comfortable and confident through every emotion that may arise. Starting something new can be hard, but trust us, you’re not doing Pilates wrong. You’re simply learning.
Thinking about trying your first class? We’d love to welcome you💞.

We’re halfway through the week✨
you got this👏
Will we see you in the studio today?
You’d be surprised how much Pilates can help👀
In the first 1–2 sessions with a client, there are often movement patterns that show up right away. The good news? Many of them can improve significantly with consistent Pilates practice over the next few months.
Here are 10 common things we look for:
✨ Weak core muscles - which can contribute to low back pain and reduced stability.
✨ Altered breathing patterns - often linked to tension in the neck, shoulders, or upper back.
✨ Postural alignment issues - changing how joints glide and move, which may contribute to degeneration and injury over time.
✨ Difficulty stabilizing the shoulders before moving the arms - creating weakness in some muscles and tightness in others throughout the shoulders, back, and neck.
✨ Weak ankles - often connected to weakness further up the chain, including the glutes.
✨ Tight calf muscles - which can contribute to plantar fasciitis, knee discomfort, and glute weakness.
✨ Limited ankle mobility - especially when the ankles can’t move independently of the knees, which can contribute to knee discomfort.
✨ Tight neck muscles - often connected to headaches, jaw clenching, dizziness, and overall tension.
✨ Weak glutes - commonly associated with low back pain, knee pain, and hip pain.
✨ Altered pelvic alignment - which may contribute to low back pain, tight hamstrings, weak core engagement, and hip discomfort.
The body works as a system. When one area isn’t moving or stabilizing well, another area often picks up the slack. That’s why Pilates is so impactful. It helps improve the way your body moves, supports itself, and feels in everyday life.

Progress deserves to be celebrated🥳
That’s why we award badges for growth and recognize the milestones our members achieve along their Pilates journey.
One of our favorite milestones are the Toaras for Teasers👑. When a member successfully completes their Teaser with proper form, they earn a tiara and get to feel like a princess for a day.
While the tiara may be fun, what it represents is even more meaningful: dedication, consistency, perseverance, and the willingness to keep showing up for yourself.
What’s a milestone you’re proud of accomplishing lately💞?
