Guilford Fishing Team Guilford's Fishing Team is an opportunity for Rockford students to get involved in the great outdoor

The Guilford Fishing Team & Club introduces participants to concepts based around fishing and conservation. From new to experienced, members of the club learn about all aspects of outdoor recreation: fisheries biology, casting, tying fishing knots, fish feeding and movement patterns, map reading, and even camping and cooking. The club supports all anglers, and all species; bass, catfish, panfish, muskie etc...
This is a year long Fishing Club and a Competitive Fishing Team. Club Advisor/Coach:

Guilford with the Win!!! 1st place and big fish at the Illinois Bob Kerans Scholastic Muskie Tournament. Thank you to Jim Beaty and crew for hosting the event. Muskies Inc. - Flatlanders Chapter sponsoring the kids to attend. Fishing was not easy but Rocky and Hailey got the job done! In fact this was Rocky's first Muskie ever.

Hailey & Rocky... Practice day on Jonson Lake, Banner Marsh, for the IL Bob Kerns Muskie Championship. We covered the lake pretty well. Muskie were not very cooperative but on the few bass breaks we took we were very productive. We boated over 20 fish. Hailey got a new PB at 22". We also got a 21" and a 19"
