The term access should have always been defined as to what type. Maybe we about to find out why.

Foot? Horse? Atv? Chevy?

And what management plans change with increased access?

If not we stand on what we have access to and bitch.

Increased access = increased management
Limited Access = less restrictive management

Would rather have limited access with healthier animals and a challenge than drive on in with that general tag.

Some have heard me talk about this stuff before and Cathryn McIntyre with Cat's Corner Studio actually included it in a painting for us. Never mind that bees love it and makes some amazing honey, wildlife and especially deer trip over themselves to get to it. Cattle guys, go ahead and read up on the anti bloat benefits. Maybe another option…. Check it out. But yes, it does grow here and getting popular south of river in certain areas. Gracie was happy to pose with the pink flower.

Little follow up to the previous video. Sara Matt Stayer with Stayer’s Quality Queen Bees, Inc. ship Italian queens all over the country including Canada to bee keepers that operate near you. All those bee boxes you see when driving around need a queen bee. The boxes you see driving around are what put raw US honey on the shelves pollinating almonds early spring in CA and then ship up to places like washington before making there way to Montana and pollinate stuff like sweet clover, alfalfa, canola, dandelions. It produces some of the best honey you can get.

Not only do I love local honey but whats good for bees is good for birds and other wildlife we hunt every fall. Get rid of smooth broam! Bees and wildlife hate it!

Thanks to Matt and Sara again for taking us out a bit. Always a joy and think everyone should get a taste to how the most misunderstood ag operation works.
