Montana Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament The Montana Governor's Cup is Northeast Montana's premier walleye fishing tournament held in beautiful Fort Peck

The Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, Inc. annually sponsors the MT Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament on the Fort Peck Lake. The annual tournament is held on the second weekend in July and accepts up to a maximum of 200 two-person teams. The MT Gov Cup is now 100% Payback!
*Final Payouts will be distributed to the top 20% of the field
*Day Money will be paid 100% on a sliding scale based on participants.

From early mornings and busy event days to all the setup, cleanup, and behind-the-scenes work, our volunteers showed up again and again.

We couldn’t have made this busy summer happen without the people who generously gave their time, energy, and helping hands. Thank you for supporting the Glasgow Area Chamber and helping make our events successful—we appreciate every one of you!

A huge thank you to every angler, volunteer, sponsor, vendor, and community member who helped make this event such a success. Your support, enthusiasm, and hard work are what make the Governor’s Cup such a special tradition year after year.

We survived a weekend at Kiwanis Park. Thank you to the Glasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, Inc. for the opportunity to host the b**r gardens. Once again it was a successful weekend with lots of laughs, great food and of course amazing people who make it all worthwhile!

First day of the Montana fort peck walleye gov cup is complete!!! Interesting day with Cody Roland !! Found some giants (literally caught the 1st and 2nd biggest fish of tournament today) but need to somehow get five of those for tomorrow (our fifth fish today was a 2 pounder ish)!! Sitting in 14th with 49 ish lbs and first is 58 lbs. love fishing this event! Gonna have fun tomorrow!

Another incredible Montana Governor’s Cup is in the books! 🎣

A huge thank-you to the anglers, sponsors, volunteers, and hardworking committee members who made this year’s tournament such a success. Events like this take an entire community, and we are so grateful for every person who helped bring it all together.

Thank you as well to everyone who came out to Kiwanis Park, joined in the fun, and helped make Gov Cup weekend so special. We could not do it without you, and we are already looking forward to next year!
