WITHIN FITNESS Youth Training Program Spring Kickoff!!

Training during the youth years can aid not only in lifelong dexterity that sets us up for a full and healthy life, but comes with a plethora of other benefits that include but aren’t limited to-

🔹sharpen goal setting skills
🔸healthy cardiovascular endurance
🔹improves concentration
🔸increase self-esteem & self-confidence
🔹better focus in school
🔸better quality sleep
🔹reduce depression and improved mental health

Join us for our WITHIN Spring Youth Games to help your child refine their balance, coordination, and agility.
Twice a week each class begins with drills to train growth in each skillset, followed by a relative and amusing game to practice skills with new friends!

This program will be exciting, fun, progressive, engaging, challenging, and help each child sharpen their athletic skills!!
We’ll be burning off energy and making new friends in this community gym-based youth program for children ages 7-12!

🙏 Thank you so much to everyone that has given 🙌 to our Holiday Toy Drive! 🚂 We are so grateful to have such caring members! 🙏

We will continue to collect 🤲 new, unwrapped toys for local children 🧒👦 who are less fortunate this season until Tuesday, December 21st. 🗓

This week’s Monday Mindset…Progress Tracking. Do you track your workouts? ✍️

No matter how simple 📝 or tech-assisted 📲 your method might be, there are many benefits of tracking your exercise progress. Keeping a quick and simple workout journal allows you to monitor how much weight you’re lifting, and how many reps and sets you’ve reached. 📈

It’s one of the most effective ways to view the amount of weight🏋🏻you can lift over time, so you know if you’re getting stronger.💪 You can also use it to log how many total sets you’re doing, so you can focus on improving your endurance!😅

Progress tracking will also help you switch up your training programs Δ, so you’re keeping your muscles in a constant state of challenge.🥵

If you’re feeling stuck or that you’re “plateauing” in achieving your goals 🥅, journaling can also assist you in recharging⚡️and refocusing.

Alright Within Fam, by now you’re probably already tired from gearing up for Thanksgiving, getting jittery 😵‍💫 about the holidays a’comin,’ and reaching for some liquid energy to keep up steam.♨️ How about a home-made Pumpkin Spice Latte?

This week’s recipe post comes thanks to the Food Babe, Vani Hari , and should help top-off your tank ⛽️ of holiday cheer 🎉 in a healthier and cheaper way than your local Seattle-born coffee pusher.🤩

Food Babe's Pumpkin Spice Latte:

Ingredients
-2 cups dairy or non-dairy milk
-2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
-½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
-1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup
-½ cup strong coffee (alternative: 2 shots espresso)

Instructions
1. In a small pot, add the milk, pumpkin puree, spices, vanilla, and maple syrup. Heat over medium heat until hot, but not boiling. Stir frequently.

2. Add ¼ cup coffee or one shot of espresso to two mugs. Pour 8 ounces of the milk mixture into each mug and stir to combine. Top with whip cream, if desired…and enjoy!
