Metro East Aces The Aces are a youth girls basketball program located in the Metro East of Illinois. We prioritize skill development and teamwork.

There are currently teams at the 3rd-8th grade level.

A huge THANK YOU to all of the girls who came out for tryouts! We loved seeing so many athletes in the gym competing, working hard, supporting one another, and showing us what they can do.

We’re incredibly excited about the talent, energy, and enthusiasm we saw on the court and even more excited about what’s ahead for the Aces program!

Today was a bittersweet one as Emma, Briar, and Haylie played their final game in an Aces uniform.

These three have given so much to this program, not just in the points they scored, the defense they played, or the games they helped us win, but in the leadership, effort, and friendship they brought to the gym.

It has been such a privilege to watch them grow as basketball players and, even more importantly, as young women.

As they head into high school, we hope they carry with them the confidence, toughness, friendships, and memories they built along the way.

Emma, Briar & Haylie, we are incredibly proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what comes next.

We’re excited to welcome girls in 3rd–8th grade to our upcoming Open Workouts/Tryouts at Father McGivney Catholic High School!

Whether your daughter is looking for a place to develop her skills, compete, build confidence, or simply see if the Aces are a good fit, we’d love to have her join us.

That's a wrap on summer ball! 🏀

Our 7th and 8th graders, with a little help from our 6th graders, wrapped up the season at Father McGivney with a great night of scrimmages against the Highland Bulldogs.

Our rising 7th grade girls headed to Bloomington this weekend for the United Hoops Twin City Classic! They may not have brought home any hardware, but the girls competed hard in four tough games, including a thrilling overtime battle.
To top it off, the girls enjoyed a pajama party back at the hotel and had plenty of fun together off the court. 🏀 🖤

Weekends like this are what it’s all about. ❤️ These 3rd graders stepped up to play in the 4th grade State Tournament and embraced the challenge.

The competition was tough, but they fought for every play and even made time to celebrate a teammate’s birthday.

Champions! 🏆 Huge congratulations to our 3rd grade girls for earning 1st place at the Orange Effect Tournament this weekend and punching their ticket to the State Championship in Bloomington-Normal this March. Way to compete, girls!
