Just finished a great 5k run outside. It was about 100 degrees. Hot yes but definitely doable. You must Stay hydrated the proper way. Not just water. You need sodium & electrolytes. Finished the run to rehydrate a little.

After pic- 41 yrs old 185 lbs
This was the heaviest I ever was. Over the past 20 years I kept the majority of that off. I’ve definitely fluctuated fat% over the years but mostly within a healthy range.
I almost never miss workouts. Even though my diet has fluctuated, I’ve maintained consistency with exercise. With that said, nutrition is what really made the difference of body fat %.
Forget what the scale says for a while… focus on a good weightlifting program (link in bio) & a healthy high protein diet. (Link in bio)

I got worse after high school. Gained 40 lbs within a few yrs… same basic excuses. College, work, girlfriend, etc…
I didn’t have a work ethic, lazy, problem. I had a nutrition problem. Once I learned what not to eat, made all the difference.
To me, it’s much easier to eat well consistently because I workout so much. If I didn’t exercise, I wouldn’t eat well… they go hand and hand. There are exceptions to that rule but most often…

I run for mental clarity. It helps me stay calm and deal with everyday stress. I lift weights daily for fat loss & muscle gain. Today was legs & shoulders plus 3 mile run.
