It’s been a journey for sure. I haven’t always been fit, this wasn’t something that came easy to me. One day I decided enough was enough and that my health and well-being was at risk and I needed to change.
Left: 2018 right before I grew an interest in health and fitness. I was close to my heaviest (180lbs), was unhappy, struggled with disordered eating and was the most unhealthy I’ve been in my life. I so badly wanted to be skinny and feel good.
I felt lost, hopeless and had little to no confidence
Right: 2021 TODAY - I am in love with the lifestyle I live. I have the most amazing coach who has been able to change my life in so many ways. I lift 4 days per week, I’m STRONG ASF, CONFIDENT AF, hell I even feel s*xy. I’m healthy, more energized, I have purpose. And now we have goals of growing and creating an insane physique. This is just the beginning.

When climaxing a number of hormones are released by the body and these hormones are connected to quality sleep 🙌🏽
One of the hormones released is oxytocin (our love hormone) which has been proven to lower cortisol levels. AKA give us a hugeeee stress release. Our cortisol levels should be the highest upon waking but often times are elevated later in the day which can cause poor sleep.
This means who we have s*x with MATTERS. We want the quality of these or***ms to be insane right? The answer to that is to have a deep connection to your partner.
Our happy hormone Serotonin also shows up to the party. Having an ample amount of serotonin in the body is important for helping your body create and stick to a sleep schedule.
The brain also releases vasopressin immediately after s*x which is shown to also help lower stress levels and make you sleep better due to its connection with the circadian rhythm.
