SYNC Yoga + Cycle

Dear Sync Family,

Over the past few weeks, we have continued to contemplate whether the return to our post-COVID studio would be a good choice and we are sad to announce that unfortunately Sync Yoga + Cycle will say goodbye to our studio.

We have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Sync on June 30 for a variety of reasons. The most prominent being our post-COVID studio will not satisfy the most important thing to our Sync family - being a second home to our members.

We have always carried this business with a community-first mentality paying close attention to the mental and physical health of our staff, instructors, and members. The amount of restrictions we would have to implement, we cannot see it satisfying and supporting that mentality anymore. Additionally, CDC guidelines would ultimately force the business to operate in an unsustainable manner. It would contradict our very mission and goals for our community.

Although this is a heartbreaking decision, we are so incredibly grateful to have experienced every single moment with you all. Each and every one of you have contributed to creating a culture around mental and physical health.

Without such an amazing team of instructors, staff, and Sync community could not have seen the growth and success at Sync over such a short period of 3 years. Each of you have impacted Sync and have allowed us to fall in love with our profession; become better individuals in professional and personal contexts; and reaching unprecedented milestones.

For those saddened by the news, just know that in such a saturated industry, a local business community like ours thrived with big thanks to our members that believed in our work ethic, hustle, and peace of mind.

We continue to observe Juneteenth in this studio and applaud New York City for signing and making it official for Juneteenth to mark as a holiday.
