Over four and a half hours of hard work, heart, and determination at tonight’s black belt test!

I’m so proud to announce that Sensei Cailynn, Sensei Melo, Sensei Skyler, and Sensei Audrey passed their test and are on their way to becoming first degree black belts!

Sensei Orion also passed his second degree black belt test! So proud of the martial artist he’s become!

To all our Glendora students who came to cheer them on, it meant so much to see you there supporting our brown belts and Sensei Orion. I love this family we’re building. You are what makes Red Dragon a family. ❤️🥋

Congratulations to all five of you!

🥋 Stripe Testing is TODAY! 🥋

Time to show us what you’ve been working on! Before you head to the dojo, make sure you have:

✅ Full uniform and belt
✅ Your weapon if you’re an orange belt or above
✅ Cooperation homework for everyone
✅ Your champion attitude!

We’re testing karate skills today, not swimming skills! ☔ Take your time and travel safely in this heavy rain.

Try your best and be your best. Can’t wait to see everyone level up in class today! 🙌

What happens when someone gets close enough to grab you?

Combat Set 4 breaks down how to respond when an opponent grabs you. We start by pulling the opponent into a clinch to gain control and limit their movement. From there, we follow up with a knee strike, then finish with an elbow and palm heel using the same hand.

If you love cheesesteaks, you have to check out West Coast Cheesesteaks! West Coast Cheesesteaks

They’re an awesome family owned business right here in our shopping center, and they were incredibly kind to donate two gift cards for us to raffle off to our members.

A huge thank you to West Coast Cheesesteaks for supporting our dojo and our families. Be sure to stop by, grab a cheesesteak, and show them some love!

And congratulations to our two raffle winners, Everett T. and Raymond K.! 🎉
