As many of you are getting ready for fall softball or moving into other fall sports, we’re already looking ahead and preparing for the next Sheridan Youth Softball season!

Each year, more than 130 girls take the field in our program, and keeping it successful takes dedicated people willing to give their time and make a difference in our community.

We’re looking to add new members to our Softball Board who want to get involved, bring new ideas, and help shape the future of Sheridan Youth Softball. For those interested, there may also be opportunities to grow into leadership roles within the program.

Three tournaments. Three championships. One unforgettable season! 💍🥎

Congratulations to our 8U Sheridan All-Star team on winning the End of the Season Tournament in Frazeysburg this weekend! The girls battled through a talented 13-team field and earned a big win over a great Mount Vernon team on their way to another championship!

They finished the summer with a perfect 3-for-3 in tournament play. From the first pitch of the season to the final out, this team competed with heart, represented Sheridan with class, and continued to improve every time they took the field.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on an incredible season. A perfect way to finish!

🥎🍂 FALL SOFTBALL 🍂🥎

Each year we get several questions about fall softball and wanted to get ahead of it.

Sheridan Youth Softball does not organize, sponsor, or support an official fall softball team or program. However, if you’re interested in forming or joining a Sheridan-based fall team, feel free to use the comments on this post to connect with other interested players, families, and coaches.

Our softball fields may be available for fall practices on a first come, first serve basis. To help prevent scheduling conflicts, we will maintain a schedule of everyone using the fields.

PLEASE NOTE that Sheridan Youth Soccer Club currently uses portions of our grass field areas for practices and games. Soccer activities will receive first priority, and every effort must be made to avoid interfering with their scheduled use of the fields.

Any fall softball team, practice, coach, or player using the fields is operating independently and is not affiliated with Sheridan Youth Softball. Field use is at your own risk, and Sheridan Youth Softball is not responsible for injuries, accidents, lost property, or other incidents that may occur.

Back-to-back tournament champs! 💍💍

Our 8U Sheridan All-Stars won the Fastpitch at the Frew Tournament in Frazeysburg, coming out on top in a 13-team field.

That makes two championships in two tournaments for this group. Proud of the way these girls continue to compete, improve, and play for each other!

A big thank you to everyone at Tri-Valley Youth League Softball for hosting a great tournament. The weather didn’t make things easy yesterday, but the tournament was run incredibly well despite the rain. We appreciate all of the work that went into making it happen!

A great morning in Somerset celebrating America’s 250th! ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to all of our Sheridan Softball girls and families who braved the heat and came out for the parade. It was great seeing the girls have fun!

Reminder! We’ll be at the Somerset parade tomorrow around 10:00 am by the American Legion. We’ll post updates on the page with exactly where we’re at. Please have your daughter(s) wear their team jersey and bring plenty of water.

We’re excited to share that we'll be participating in the Somerset Parade this year! The parade committee has asked that floats be set up by 10:00 AM. If your daughter is attending, please have her there no later than 10:30 AM.

The girls should wear their team jersey shirt, but full uniforms are not needed. We will have water available for those that need it, but please bring your own candy if your player would like to pass some out.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to participate in both the Somerset and Thornville parades this year, so we will only be attending the Somerset Parade. We’re looking forward to a fun morning representing Sheridan Softball and celebrating America 250! 🇺🇸🥎

What a day for our Sheridan 8U All-Stars! 🥎🏆

The girls went to Malta this weekend and came home as the Battle of the Boondocks Champions! These girls competed hard all day, played against some really great teams and showed exactly what Sheridan Softball is all about!

We’re incredibly proud of these players, coaches, and families for their effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Thank you to everyone who supported our girls and helped make today possible! ❤️

Our end-of-season pool party was the perfect way to celebrate another amazing season together!

Seeing the girls (and brothers) enjoy a beautiful evening together, making memories outside of the ballfield, is what our league is all about! Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, coaches, parents, and players for making this season such a success! ❤️🥎
