Just a reminder that this is the best time of the year for kayaking not too hot, not too cold. We will be out here the next 3 days celebrating Labor Day 10am till sunset!

Sunset is the best time to be on the water! Hope to see everyone out here at Beck Lake this weekend. Make sure to come 1-2 hours before sunset if you want to get a view like this.

Hello everyone,

I will be open until the end of October on Beck Lake is Des Plaines. If you or you know anybody that enjoys kayaking come out and paddle. The lake is very forgiving and beginner friendly for young kids or adults who might be new to kayaking.

Since my job working in Chicago public schools starts this week. The kayak shop will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of October as long as the weather is good.

Hope to see some of you out there!
