I’ve been reminded lately that what happens within us can show up on our skin.
I got sidetracked, let down some heart boundaries, and the stress eventually caught up with my body.

Sugar is not your skin’s friend!
Keep your intake of sweets to a minimum to help prevent glycation in your skin (stiffening of collagen resulting in visible signs of aging).

Excess sugar drives a process called glycation, where glucose and fructose molecules bind to collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. This cross-linking stiffens the fibers and impairs their ability to repair, accelerating visible aging, wrinkles, sagging, and reduced elasticity.

The effect is compounded by UV exposure, which speeds glycation further.
