The breath is important with the pelvic floor because frequently the rib cage and diaphragm aren’t expanding the way that they should.
Join me for a Core & Pelvic Floor Demo Thursday, August 27th 12pm-1pm Greater Beverly YMCA.
We tend to get stuck in the back side of the body with a posterior diaphragm not expanding the way that it should.
These positions using a rolled up blanket and a Coregeous ball can help us.
As you’re in, you want to think about expanding the place opposite of where the pressure is.
So with the balls at the bottom of the rib cage, you’re thinking about expanding that same position on the upper back, the bottom of the rib cage.
And this is something we go over in my pelvic floor workshops.
Join me for a Core & Pelvic Floor Demo Thursday, August 27th 12pm-1pm where we’ll discuss this and more!
