Our team was formed in 2009 in honor of our team captain's husband, Brendan Boyce,a victim of Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years.
We have made the commitment to ride the Bike MS event each year in his honor and to the thousands affected by this disease. A team of amateur riders that take MS seriously. With the support of friends and families, we will continue to ride to help benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society ongoing commitment to make the world free of MS.

I know we are all disappointed about Bike MS being cancelled due to weather, also I know this is where we would all rather be today but since our event was cancelled we are having a Team Party at Kristina's house. We Have tried to reach out to everyone but just in case we missed anyone it is at 4:30 today. 4737 Busch Rd. Wear your BBRR shirt or jersey and bring chairs, a side dish and drinks. Meat will be provided

Look what crafty Em made!
We are gearing up for the rest stop! I think Brendan's Back Road Riders deserve our 2nd consecutive Best Rest Stop win based on this ballot box alone.
It would be 7 years ago, this month, I began training to ride for the original team of Brendie's B Bops. Since then, a lot of miles have fallen behind my bike. A lot of new friends were gained and the team grew explosively from the 7 or so riders that first year. Lots of memories have been gained.
As some of you know, I have had leg issues for several years. Last year, my knee blew out on me and a few months ago, an infection brought on by complications of varicose veins set me back considerably. Now I have to make the announcement with deep regrets that I will not be riding MS this year. The doctor seems to think the biking may aggravating the knee too much. So for now, I will be retiring from the bicycling sport. It has been an honor to ride for Brendan and all those with MS. It also has been a pleasure to ride with the team these past years and wish you all great success in the future events.

Training for the MS 150 starts earlier this year thanks to this great find. Space-saver over using my roadie on a training stand.

Brendan's Back Road Riders 2015
Did everyone get the email from the MS Society today? We won best Rest Stop along with Bunzl and we were the #8 top fundraising team. Best Team ever! Thank you to everyone!
