We are community-based and emphasize teamwork, skill development, and a love of the game. Goffstown United Club Soccer is a competitive youth soccer club that is a step up from recreational leagues. 2016 Girls Maroon
This week's Player of the Week recognition goes to a player who truly exemplifies what growth, hard work, and determination look like.
While she may not always be the player grabbing the headlines, she has quietly put together an incredible season and has grown leaps and bounds since day one. The confidence she is showing on the field now is a testament to the effort she has put in at practices and games all season long.
Playing wing today, she made a huge impact on both ends of the field. Her speed and determination helped keep the ball out of our defensive end, and she consistently worked hard to support her teammates. On offense, she made several smart plays and great passes that helped create opportunities for our team.
What makes this recognition so special is seeing how much she has developed—not just as a soccer player, but as a confident teammate who believes in herself and contributes wherever she's needed. Cameron Pendagast 2015 Boys Black
Cameron anchored his team at left back for two victories this weekend; 3-2 over Hampshire United and 11-3 over Londonderry. He consistently helped drive the attack up the field, coordinating well with the left midfielder to push the ball up the line. He had several clutch saves on defense, stepping in to interrupt up an opponent's attack. The Hampshire United game specifically required coverage of a particularly fast and skilled attacker. Cameron never gave up in working to shut him down. He shows up and leaves it on the field every game. Cameron is positive, hard-working and good at communicating. His consistent and reliable play is trusted by his teammates and leads by example.
