Olympics. That one word always turns the dial up to twenty. When lifelong dreams are on the line, there’s an immense around of pressure which inevitably creates some chaos. The Olympic course in Tokyo is one of the more technical and beautiful courses out there. Its steep punchy climbs and continuous features make it relentless. No recovery. It also made for an intense ride on the course for the first time. The tension was palpable. Riders crashed everywhere. Top racers got stitches, broken helmets, broken noses. I am really proud of how I handled it all. I rode all the A-Lines at my own progression and, with the help of technical coach , I feel like I have the course dialed. It turns out being a veteran comes in handy sometimes. I loved Japan, the Olympic course, and my whole trip. I hope I can come back next year 🤞 📸

This: still not over this. I stopped road riding shortly after her passing away.
Such a tragedy. It affects my mindset every time I ride on backroads on the way to a trail.
This helped me want to be part of the City of Golden transportation planning group. The 3 ft passing law signs around town, was my big push. Many more things will come to improve safety in Golden as funding becomes available. Amy your legacy turned me just a shop guy, into an activist for our sport.
Your missed Amy. I’m honored that I got to know you as a bike fitter, working at Excel sports Boulder at the time. I remember you saying “you are nuts for riding hwy 93 from Golden as much as you do.” You were right about that in hindsight. Your legacy has taught me a lot.

Six years ago today, we lost Amy Dombroski. While we will always mourn her loss, we also celebrate the Amy D. Foundation as her legacy. Community engagement and a mutual need to build constructive outcome from the tragedy paved the way for Amy’s passions to live on. Together, we take a small step forward in generating equality and opportunity in this sport we love. Thank you to all who help make the Amy D. Foundation thrive. 🧡💙🧡

Keep any eye out to help SG Boulder
Friends...please keep an eye out for SG demo bikes in suspicious circumstances. At 4:18 this morning a vehicle rammed through our garage door and did extensive damage to the shop. We are still accounting for stolen bikes and property damage. We appreciate your patience today as we work through the mess during normal business hours.
