Racer X Cycling's Lookout Mountain Hill Climb Bicycle Race

Sadly, this race — along with many classic Colorado road events— has become another casualty of the ever-changing racing landscape.

That said, Colorado’s race calendar remains strong, with dedicated Masters and Juniors continuing to keep participation high at gravel, MTB and cyclocross events.

This page will shut down on January 31, bringing a 30-year run of the Lookout Mountain HC to a close.

Ride safe, keep the rubber side down, and continue to enjoy the remarkable cycling community we’re fortunate to have in Colorado.

Please continue to support Bicycle Colorado — they are at the forefront of cycling advocacy across our state.

Cancelled

We have made the difficult decision to cancel the Lookout Mountain HC. Current registration is less than half that needed to approach breakeven and Racer X Cycling cannot assume this financial loss. In a changing landscape where most events are now controlled by large entities or commercial ventures, RXC was one of the last teams to step-up and assume the responsibility and risk of sponsoring an event. We had a huge promotional push over these past few weeks that did not create the spike we needed.

BikeReg will refund entry fees over the next 7-10 days.
