After 31 years I have decided to retire from race directing, it's been a fun run and thank you to all of the people who trusted me to give them a quality event and to the thousands of volunteers who selflessly gave their time. Thank you and I'll see you at the starting lines...or on the slopes...or on the trail.

Sadly this will the final Lookout Mountain Triathlon. It's been a great roll but it is time to call it good. If you aren't going to race I really could use volunteers. A great day of racing yesterday at the Lookout Mountain Triathlon as a 188 souls took on what, mile for mile, may be the hardest triathlon in the state. ITU pro Sophie Linn from Australia shattered the women's course record with a blistering 57:34, to finish second overall. Jake Bamforth of Fort Collins took the overall victory. See ya June 12, 2021
