The Yukon has a way of making you feel impossibly small and completely at home at the same time.

This year’s International Yeti Gathering took us north to Whitehorse, aptly nicknamed the “Land of the Midnight Sun” for its near-24-hour summer sunlight. Yeti employee Will Litty recounts his journey to the wild north — starting rides at 9pm, earning every switchback on Grey Mountain’s Dream Trail, and getting his hands dirty with the Singletrack to Success Crew on Montana Mountain.

Honored to have had the whole Yeti / FOX Factory team represent their home countries this past week at the DH World Championships in Val Di Sole. Not quite the results they may have dreamed of, but we’re proud of their commitment at the one run takes all event.

Richie Rude laid down a solid finals run, but just lacked the podium pace we know he has on his day.

Matilda Melton built to a solid 14th in quali and was all in on an aggressive finals run until a flat derailed it.

cruised to set the top time in qualifying, but some overnight rain made for some sketchy conditions in the short training block on finals morning. A crash in the same spot as Tyler took him out of the final.

TYLER was looking incredibly fast all week on some creative and technical lines, but an unfortunate crash in the gnarly top rock garden ended his season early in the Quali.

Still buzzing from a wild weekend in Les Gets for the Yeti / FOX Factory Team. Brutal quali conditions, historic wins, and the wildest World Cup crowd ever.

The whole crew is rolling the momentum straight into World Champs this week!

Jonty Williamson with another win, 6 for 7 on the season… and enough to secure the World Cup Overall Championship with two rounds to go! He’s already tied the record for most junior wins in a season 👀

Richie Rude oh so close to his first ever Elite DH podium, 4th in the end after getting bumped by the very last rider on track. The tougher the conditions the better for Richie, and we’re stoked to see him up at the top end where he belongs.

Matilda Melton battled to sneak into the final after the worst possible conditions in Q2. An unfortunate crash in her race run, but some valuable experience racing in front of the massive Les Gets crowd.

TYLER won the first split and was in the green all the way until the final mud filled steeps in Q2. Unfortunately a couple small slide outs in the mud kept him just a few spots outside of making the final.
