Colorado Wheelchair Basketball had an incredible day partnering with Children’s Hospital Colorado at the Limb Difference Conference in Denver.

Members of the Colorado Wheelchair Basketball Organization and Denver Rolling Nuggets spent the day sharing how **adaptive** sports – especially wheelchair basketball – can open doors to community, confidence, and lifelong fitness for kids and adults with limb differences. We loved answering questions, swapping stories, and showing that a wheelchair is not a limitation – it’s a launching pad.

💪 Colorado Wheelchair Basketball is Growing Strong!

This past weekend, our newest team — The Colorado Silverbacks, representing our Military Division — competed in their first-ever NWBA Military Nationals. Entering the tournament as the #7 seed, these athletes fought hard and proudly brought home the Bronze Medal! 🏅

We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible debut — a huge shoutout to our military athletes for their determination, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

But we’re not stopping there — Colorado Wheelchair Basketball keeps expanding!

We’re proud to introduce our newest team — The Colorado Silverbacks, an all-military wheelchair basketball squad representing strength, service, and teamwork!

The Silverbacks will make their official debut this weekend at the Military Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs (Friday–Sunday).

Alongside the Denver Rolling Nuggets and Denver Junior Nuggets, they’re helping make Colorado wheelchair basketball stronger than ever! Let’s cheer on all our teams as they showcase skill, determination, and the spirit of competition.
