Erie Police Department gifted new virtual training simulator

Each year, we select an agency who has shown an aptitude for revolutionizing their training to donate a simulator to. This year, we are proud to announce that the Erie Police Department was chosen for our 2021 donation for all their hard work throughout these tough times.

Erie Police Department gifted new virtual training simulator The equipment was donated by Ti Technologies, and will assist officers in de-escalation techniques, marksmanship and more.

Had a great time with the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) at their yearly conference in Elizabethtown. Thank you to all the officers who were able to attend and a special thanks to Rodney Sherrod, Lynda Schwendeman, Brian Nunn, and Greg Partin for organizing the event.

Congratulations to Paul Clarke as he took home 7th place in the Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge! Paul had to faceoff against 100 other Pro Class competitors from all over the world but was able to stand out with a score of 218 with 4 x's in the finals, a personal best, just shy of the winner at 228 with 10 x's. Way to go Paul, looks like all those simulated range sessions are paying off!

Hats off to our Ti team at the 2021 IDPA Italian Championship as Roger took home first place in Rev Marksman and Alberto took second in Rev Expert! Alberto will be adding to his list of achievements as he won the World Championships Rev Sharpshooter in 2018 and placed third in Rev Expert at the European Championship in 2020. Sensational shooting guys, well done!

Great Group of people in KY

Our Frankfort team recently assisted the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Services(KLCIS) Loss Control Law Enforcement by providing an on-site location for their Response to Resistance / Decision Making Stimulator Training to law enforcement officers across Kentucky.

The KLCIS program has been providing this training to participating police departments including Frankfort for more than 15 years. The virtual simulator provides realistic scenarios to which officers practice their responses while being monitored by a certified simulator instructor. KLCIS believes part of their success in minimizing risk exposure and lowering officer injuries is due in large part to this program.

Bay County Sheriff's Office

What would YOU do if faced with a split-second, life or death decision? Cops face the possibility of making those kind of decisions every day. Test your skills by attending the Bay County Sheriff's Office Citizen's Police Academy, which begins on Oct. 1st. You'll get the opportunity to go through the incredibly realistic immersive video simulator, purchased through grant funding, and see how you would do in a life and death situation.
