A new set of poppers for kids

I recently received a request to remake a Micheal’s Baitfish lure into popper fly.

Always trying to come up with new colors for my dry flies. This dry is a size #14 TMC101 using a brown magic marker on the pale yellow tail and biot body to gauge the effect. I also dyed some grizzly hackle with pine green RIT DYE though it ended up with more of a blueish color. Trying to recreate a mottled look, perhaps a little sloppy, but a good presentation should get a strike.
