Golden High Country Archers annual work day 2022 After a two year delay (Covid restrictions) we were finally able to all get together and have another group work day! It was another winner.

Bring tools, including chainsaws and wheelbarrows, and a strong back.

MEMBERSHIP

The position of Membership Director, like our other board positions, will be filled by election at the annual meeting on February 12th.

The Membership Director has full responsibility of processing membership applications, making sure that dues, initiation fees, and work party fees are paid in full. The Membership Director is the liaison between the Membership and the Board of Directors. They are responsible for keeping an accurate membership list, and works with other Directors in keeping track of membersʼ work parties.

The Membership Director attends the annual meeting and up to 6 board meetings a year held every other month.

Candidates for Membership Director will be accepted for balloting through January 31st as well as at the annual meeting.

RANGE CAPTAIN

The position of Range Captain, like our other board positions, will be filled by election at the annual meeting on February 12th.

The Range Captain has full responsibility for the maintenance, layout, and operation of the range including the site-in range, the 3-D range, the storage sheds and all other facilities and equipment within the rangeʼs boundaries. That is quite a lot to put in just one sentence. The Range Captain also schedules and manages (or makes sure that they are managed), all work parties.

The Range Captain attends the annual meeting and up to 6 board meetings a year held every other month.

Candidates for Range Captain will be accepted for balloting through January 31st as well as at the annual meeting.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

The position of PR Director, like our other board positions, will be filled by election at the annual meeting on February 12th.

The Public Relations Director is responsible for promoting the club, organizing shoots and special events, and is the liaison between the public and the club.

The Public Relations Director is responsible for all correspondence to the public, including promotion of shooting events and special member activities. They produce notifications of these events as well as make personal calls and visits to businesses for possible sponsorship of these events. They work with the Range Captain to coordinate advertisement and labor to accomplish these events.

The PR Director attends the annual meeting and up to 6 board meetings a year held every other month.

Candidates for PR Director will be accepted for balloting through January 31st as well as at the annual meeting.

The Treasurer is responsible for tracking expenditures and proposing the yearly budget at the annual meeting. The Treasurer is authorized to make club disbursements.

The Treasurer attends the annual meeting and up to 6 board meetings a year held every other month.

VICE PRESIDENT

The position of Vice President, like our other board positions, will be filled by election at the annual meeting on February 12th.

The Vice President serves in many capacities as President, when the President is unavailable.

The Vice President serves as general manager, working and filling in wherever they are needed. They work with the Secretary on the wording of new bylaws and policies and suggest ways to streamline and improve the club.

The Vice President attends the annual meeting and up to 6 board meetings a year held every other month.

Candidates for Vice President will be accepted for balloting through January 31st as well as at the annual meeting.
