P2P's Mid-Week Training Race Series

Announcing P2P's 2025 Junior and Women's Training Race & Clinic Series. Details are in the final stages and coming together quickly. We have reserved the Douglas County EVOC Track on Tuesdays, May 20th, June 24th and July 22nd for 3 hours of races on the track while clinics can be held on Pad A inside the track.

The goals for this series are to provide enjoyment, learning and training opportunities for male and female junior athletes (10 years and older) and women of all abilities to experience road cycling, competition, and skill improvements in a safe car-free environment.

Categories tentatively offered will be:

Juniors: C (beginner) at 5:20 pm;
B (novice) at 5:50 pm;
A (expert) at 6:20 pm
Women: B (beginner & novice) at 7:00 pm;
A (expert/elite) at 7:30 pm

Clinics will be held for women between 5:45 and 6:45 pm & juniors between 7:00 and 7:50 each evening.

If you are a club or team manager of your junior or women's programs, please reach out to me. We would be thrilled to not just have your program participate, but be a integral member organization investing in its success. We need your programs participation for this to succeed. Not only do we want it to succeed, we want it to grow in the seasons to come with more dates and expanded clinic material.

P2P's Mid-Week Training Race Series 2025 season dates are about to be finalized. Our 10 Wednesdays in June, July & Aug 13th are rock solid and on schedule at the CSP track in Golden. However, Jon is trying to schedule the front and back end of the series in a manner that reduces race date conflicts with potentially CCTT on May 14 and Back to Basics CX on August 20. The compounding issue is the CSP track is not available on May 28th or Aug 6th. We are looking to hold race #1 and #11 at the Douglas County Track on Tuesdays, May 27th and Aug 5th. This would give us 12 successive weekly race dates with no gaps.

If anyone is doing the Gravel National Championships in Gering, NE, I am planning on having a support tent just past the midway point after the right turn onto pumpkin creek road. If you need support, want a feed bag or drop clothes, reach out to me beforehand and we can coordinate.
