We had a great summer workout this morning on the Luke Vail Tennis Courts at Charles B. Aycock High School in Pikeville. We had almost all of our veterans and top newcomers. The girls all worked hard despite the heat. We had junior Marley Moret, senior Torrianna Coley, junior Kannyn Fail, junior Caroline Howell, and second row sophomore Katie Moore, junior Abigayle Abrams, freshman Emma Keim, sophomore Madseicka Farelus, and freshman Mallorie Springs out today. Only 23 days till the first official practice for the 2026 season!

The Charles B. Aycock Lady Golden Falcons will hold their sixth summer workout of the 2026 season on Tuesday, July 7th from 8:30-9:45 a.m. at the Luke Vail Tennis Courts at Charles B. Charles B. Aycock High School sophomore Katie Moore volunteered for eight hours Saturday with the Greene County Tennis Association at the annual Greene County Summer Sizzle L6 USTA Junior Tennis Tournament. Moore ran the concession stand and helped out with court maintance throughout the day.

We had a great summer workout this morning at the Luke Vail Tennis Courts at Charles B. Aycock High School in Pikeville. Juniors Kannyn Fail and Abigayle Abrams (not pictured) worked on serving, volleying, and doubles service returns along with freshman Emma Keim. Keim and newcomers Annabella Herring and Madison Cauley worked on forehands, backhands, serving, and volleys. All five girls improved this morning, which is our daily goal at Aycock.

We had a great second workout of the summer this afternoon at the Luke Vail Tennis Courts on the campus of Charles B. Aycock High School in Pikeville. Alll six girls worked hard for the entire ninety mintues, and all showed improvement. We are excited about having so many young, talented players heading into the 2026 season. Sophomore Kannyn Fail, freshman Katie Moore, freshman Annabella Herring, rising freshman Emma Keim, freshman Elena Marlowe, and freshman Madseicka Farelus were at today's workout.
