Fresh Faces and Returning Medalists Stand on Podium at Excel National Final | U.S. Figure Skating More than 900 skaters competed at the 2025 Excel National Final in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this past week. The event provided valuable competitive experience along with on- and off-ice educational sessions designed to enhance their skills and prepare athletes for the upcoming season.

Girlies go to work with me! Skating edition ⛸️🩷 I’m so fortunate I’m able to bring my kiddos with me to work. This is only possible because Athena really enjoys skating and I come SUPER prepared. It’s quite a bit for me to load up, but I’ve figured out how to organize myself (and them) so it’s as “easy” as possible. Don’t be fooled, I definitely had to hold Reyna for a period of time and things aren’t TOTALLY stress free; but the girls are so good and I enjoy sharing my love for skating with them. Of course it’s extremely helpful that my skaters are ok with this setup.
