🥎12U Silver (Manager Chris Anderson): Saturday (yes, Saturday), April 25th at 3:30 Field 4.

🥎10U Silver (Manager Keith Ferries): Saturday, April 25th at 3:00 Field 3.

🥎8U Gold (Manager Taylor Ward): Sunday, April 26th at 12 Noon Field 2.

If your player is interested in playing any level 8U they should attend the 8U Gold tryouts on Sunday.

A HUGE part of the success and development of softball players over the summer depends on the investment and commitment of dedicated coaches.
👀We’re seeking experienced coaches to manage 8/10/12/14U summer 2026 All Stars teams.

• The more managers the more All Stars teams GVGSA can run this summer and the more opportunities we can offer to athletes of all experience levels. Whether they’re just starting out or seasoned players, every athlete deserves a shot to grow, compete and make memories.

•If you are an experienced coach and are considering applying to manage a Gold/Select 10/12/14U All Stars team submit your application by midnight Saturday April 4th. In-person interviews take place Monday April 6th.

📣 MID SEASON MADNESS is here!

Welcome families and ballplayers from surrounding leagues! Let’s PLAY BALL 🥎

📣We’re excited to invite our 12U and 14U players to be GVGSA Buddies for the Dos Pueblos Little League Challenger Division this Saturday morning! This is a special opportunity to make baseball accessible, fun, and inclusive for all kids in our community.

The DPLL Challenger Division serves players ages 4–14 with intellectual and physical disabilities, providing opportunities to enjoy baseball in a supportive, structured environment. This event is all about teamwork, friendship, and fun.

We’re expecting about 10 Challenger players, and are looking for 10–12 GVGSA players to pair up one-on-one and assist on the field.

Event Details:
🗓 Date: Saturday, March 21st
🕘 Time: 9:00–11:00 AM (Arrive by 8:45 AM)
📍 Location: Elings Field #4 (Juniors Field) at Girsh Park, 7050 Phelps Road

Studies show happiness increases tenfold when observing and cheering on softball players on Opening Day!

Luckily for us, that opportunity is live and in person this Saturday, March 7! Come cheer loud, bring the energy, and help kick off the GVGSA 2026 season the right way.

Opening Day will be full of activities, ball and community. We will have Claudia Coffee truck, Kona Ice, Next Level Sports with a radar booth, and our Snack Shack grilling burgers and cranking along all day!

🚙Parking: Will be extremely full. Please park at DPHS in the upper lot if there is nothing available in our Cathedral Oaks and walk down.

🥎 On Sunday, March 8, it’s GVGSA Day with UCSB Gaucho Softball! each GVGSA family can access 4 free tickets to the UCSB vs. UC San Diego game at 1PM, GVGSA players are invited to join the Gauchas on the field before the game for the National Anthem, and following the game all GVGSA players 6th grade and under are invited to participate in a skills clinic hosted by UCSB coaches and players.

GVGSA players, wear your GVGSA jersey or a UCSB shirt, bring your cleats for practice, and don’t forget your mitt! You’ll have a blast watching the Gauchas, chasing foul balls, and then afterwards playing ball with the college players on the field!

🇺🇸Arrive by 12:30PM to participate in the National Anthem.
