A good little 661 series this Saturday morning. First game was rough, trying to find a good line. Second and third game found a good ball to throw that helped with being way more consistent. I will be posting more of my high school content coming this week as we have 2 matches left before playoffs! So far 9-1 with a loss against Jesuit. Stay tuned!

Bowled the Annual Capital City Strike Out. This was my first tournament in the u18 boys division so it was a great challenge. They had 2 blocks both bowling 4 games to qualify, with 6 qualifiers to bowl finals tomorrow. Bourbon Street was the first pattern as Big Ben followed after. For me Bourbon Street was the pattern that threw my series off the most as I couldn’t find the right ball for the scenario. After block A I had a small break to relax and refresh. I told myself I needed to make a big comeback. The start of block B was really good, while throwing a 236 to start it off. My adrenaline was running as for the second game I had thrown a 250 which bumped me up at least 7 places at the time. After that I had just tried to do good on the last 2 games as I had shot under 180 for both which brought me down a bit. I averaged around 178 to finish from all 8 games. Ended up placing 26th out of 37 bowlers. I had a great time meeting some new people and seeing some friends as they also competed. Congrats to the people who qualified and hope they do good tomorrow!
