Live rounds in a room of good friends last night with two of our very own leveling up.

Coach Madi recieved the 4th stripe on her blue belt last night. Her consistency is what every coach hopes for in a student. She has become such a highlight inside of our club. Helping coach kids classes, teaching our womens bjj, and also doing private classes as well as attending regular scheduled classes through the week. She's putting in an incredible amount of work and it is paying dividends on the mats. Congrats Madi 👏

Also our student Emmit receiving the 1st stripe on his white belt. After only 6 months of training Emmit has already competed in 4 tournaments with us as a club. And we have been able to watch his grappling ability increase dramatically in a very short time. His appetite to learn and grow is an impressive quality especially for someone so young. Can't wait to see you continue to develop in and out of the room.

Grateful for every opportunity to share space with all of you.

Before the Flatland fam got bigger it was just us three. OG Jake, Heather, and Nova. A lot of late nights, a gutted building, way too many decisions, and at least one point where all 3 of us were just laying on the gym floor completely spent. BUT somehow God turned it into a gym full of people we genuinely like being around….Pretty good trade we’d say.

Adults will be a labor day open mat from 6-8.

Tomorrow there will be no noon class for the homeschool group as coach Jacob is out of town this week.
