Impact Golf Lab

Impact Golf Lab I'm Zachary Sardina, founder of Impact Golf Lab. I help golfers find clarity, build consistency, and grow on and off the course.

My mission is to create a heart-led, growth-minded community that inspires lasting transformation through the game. Founder & Independent Golf Coach | Impact Golf Lab

Hi, I’m Zachary Sardina — a dedicated golf coach and the founder of Impact Golf Lab, where I help golfers cut through the noise, eliminate confusion, and find true clarity in their game. My coaching philosophy is rooted in more than just mechanics or swing fixes. I believe golf is a powerful mirror — it reveals our mindset, habits, and approach to challenges. That’s why I work with each athlete not just as a golfer, but as a whole person. Whether you're chasing scratch or just trying to break 90, my goal is to guide you toward becoming the best version of yourself — both on and off the course. At Impact Golf Lab, I’ve built a community centered around growth, authenticity, and consistency. This isn’t about quick tips or surface-level fixes — it’s about long-term development, accountability, and showing up with heart every time you tee it up. If you’re ready to play with more purpose, train with more clarity, and surround yourself with a like-minded community of high-performers, let’s connect. I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your journey.

Here's the thing — if you grew up playing sports, high school, maybe even college, you are eventually going to end up on the golf course. We can’t play baseball forever. We can’t run up and down that basketball court forever. And we definitely can’t get tackled forever. That competitive drive and need for constant improvement has got to get directed somewhere, and golf is the perfect fit. You don't have to run, you don't have to jump, and the course isn't moving. You can play as long as you can stand and swing a club. But if you're taking up the game, don't hesitate to learn it the right way from the beginning. Avoid building bad habits now that take months to unlearn later. Click below and let’s get started.

HANDS TIGHT. BALL GOES HIGH.

Pushing the hands forward creates space between the lead arm and rib cage and drives the ball low. Keep the hands close to the lead hip, let the club release and come up and around — then hold your finish and check if the hands stayed in tight. This is the third key to hitting high soft pitch shots — and the finish position tells you everything. Want to fix your pitching?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER HAS A COACH.
Here's the thing — everyone needs a coach. You can watch that YouTube video, you can watch that Instagram reel, and the information could be gold. Could be exactly what you need. But you don't know if you're actually doing it. Every person needs feedback. Every person needs another set of eyes to say yes that's it or no that's not it. We are creatures of habit and it takes a lot for us humans to change. You might feel like you're making a big move but really it's barely moving at all. If Scottie Scheffler — the number one player in the world — has a coach, you should have one too. Click below and let's get started.

THUMBS DOWN. STILL GOES HIGH.

With the face open turning the hands down and around through the ball keeps the leading edge going down and the shaft leaning. The ball still goes high and soft — even with thumbs down. Square the face and try to help it up and it all falls apart. This is the dynamic motion that makes a great pitch shot — trust the open face and turn down through it. Want to fix your pitching?

Improving Inside Out

HEELS SQUARE. FACE OPEN.

Most golfers open the face and the stance together — but that forces you to take the club back inside and scoop. Keep the heels square or close to the target and the open face creates a pull that delivers a downward strike and pops the ball up. This setup combination is what separates great pitchers from everyone else around the greens. Want to fix your pitching?

OPEN FACE. CLOSE THROUGH IMPACT.

Most golfers come in too square and then try to add loft mid swing — that's what causes the lean back and the excess tilt. Great pitchers open the face at setup and close it through impact so the shaft keeps going down and pops the ball up. The loft is already built in — stop trying to add it on the way through.
