Teen BJJ Class Dropping High-Level Technical Sequences! 🥋🔥
Our teen crew had absolute blast on the mats today! They worked through an entire high-level sequence: launching with a smooth Harai Goshi throw, establishing heavy mount control, trapping with the gift wrap to take the back, and finishing strong with the Mata Leão (rear naked choke). 💥
Watching these teens connect takedowns directly into dominant control and high-percentage submissions is what Jiu-Jitsu is all about. Precision, timing, and relentless focus!
They pushed the pace, sharpened their technique, and brought incredible energy to every single round. Super proud of the work this group puts in week after week!

Great energy on the mats during last night’s Filipino Martial Arts (Escrima) class at T&T Martial Arts Academy! 💥⚔️
We dialed in both stick work and empty-hand applications, breaking down sharp strikes, punches, and kicks. Everyone brought incredible focus, flow, and intensity to training. Proud of this crew for putting in the work and refining their self-defense skill set! 🥋🔥

Midday Grind: 12 PM BJJ Class Hits Different! 🥋🔥
Huge energy on the mats for our noon session! Today we broke down the mechanics of the Harai Goshi (hip sweep throw), working through smooth ex*****on, counters, and transitioning right into the gift wrap control to secure the back take.
Check out Adrienne putting in work—with less than 5 classes under her belt, she’s already hitting clean Harai Goshi throws on Ceci! That’s what happens when you commit to consistency, focus on proper leverage, and step onto the mats with an open mind.
Awesome technical details, great rolls, and an unbelievable crew pushing each other to get better every single day.

Major Promotion Alert: Sempai Tadeu Reaches the Red/Black Belt! 🥋🔥
Twelve years of continuous work, discipline, and dedication have officially led to this moment. Huge congratulations to my son, Sempai Tadeu, for earning his Red/Black Belt! 💥
Starting on the mats at just 2.5 years old, Tadeu has put in 12 years of nonstop training to earn this rank in our family system—a complete, functional blend of Kung Fu, Karate, Japanese Jujitsu, and Escrima. This promotion puts him just one step away from achieving his Sensei Black Belt! On top of that, he is a dedicated practitioner on the ground as a solid Grey Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Promotions at this level are never given; they are earned through thousands of hours of sweat, mat time, and consistent commitment to self-mastery. Watching Sempai Tadeu grow into a technical martial artist and a leader for our students on the mat is one of the greatest proud dad and instructor moments possible.
Congratulations, Tadeu! The journey to Black Belt continues! 🥋💪

Parents of 3- and 4-year-olds, this one's for you. 👇

Early SKILLZ is our program built specifically for preschoolers. Not a watered-down big-kid class. Not babysitting. Thirty focused minutes, twice a week, designed around how little kids actually learn: short bursts, big movement, and a coach who expects their best.

Here's what happens on our mat: 🥋 They learn to line up, bow, and listen the first time 🥋 They build balance and coordination with drills that feel like play 🥋 They sharpen focus on targets they can see and hit 🥋 They learn that trying again is how you get better.

We cap Early SKILLZ at 16 kids so every child gets real attention. Right now, 12 spots are open for fall.

📅 2 classes a week | Mon–Thu, 3:30–4:00pm 📍 17650 W Elliot Rd Suite A150, Goodyear ♿ Wheelchair accessible | 🚗 Onsite parking | 🇺🇸 Active military discounts

Space is Limited with capped classes.

Start with a free trial class. Watch your little one walk in shy and walk out standing a little taller.

Welcome Daniel to the T&T Martial Arts Academy Family! 🥋🔥
Give a big shoutout to our newest student, Daniel! 👏 He officially stepped onto the mats and joined our Basic SKILLZ program (ages 5–7), suited up in his brand-new gi and ready to learn.
At 5 to 7 years old, children are at a crucial developmental stage where they learn how to turn high energy into laser focus, discipline, and core athletic coordination.
Through our age-tailored martial arts curriculum, Daniel will be building:
Focus & Listening Skills: Learning how to follow multi-step instructions with confidence.
Agility & Body Control: Developing coordination, balance, and core strength.

Courage & Self-Esteem: Stepping out of his comfort zone and conquering new challenges every class.

We are so excited to watch Daniel grow, learn, and earn those future belt stripes on his martial arts journey! Welcome to the team, champ! 💪✨
