Massive congratulations to our incredible Maine athletes who brought their best to the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA! Competing on the national stage takes immense grit, dedication, and heart, and these athletes represented the Pine Tree State with pride.

National Podium & All-American Honors
* Issac Pawlak – NATIONAL CHAMPION! 1st place in 11-12 Discus (37.07m) 🏆
* Ryan Hanlon – 2nd Place All-American in 17-18 3000m Racewalk (15:55.20) 🥈
* Trey Belcher – 6th Place All-American in 15-16 3000m Racewalk (21:48.32) 🏅
* Leon Landry – 7th Place All-American in 13-14 Triple Jump (11.76m) 🏅

National Top Performances
* Tiaan Slate – 12th in 15-16 Hammer Throw (38.65m)
* Kathryn Godlash – 19th in 8U Javelin (12.75m)
* Connor Caiazzo – 25th in 9-10 Long Jump (3.91m)
* Scott Tubbs – 26th in 15-16 Discus (35.50m)
* Thomas Hebert – Strong national showing in 17-18 Shot Put
* Emma Graham – Outstanding effort in the grueling 17-18 Heptathlon

🎉 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AMAZING MAINE ATHLETES! 🎉

Our local track and field stars absolutely crushed it at the USATF JO Region 1 Championship at Gordon College! We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 39 talented Maine athletes who stepped up to the line, threw in the rings, and soared into the pits to represent our state! From thrilling sprints on the track to massive throws and jumps in the field, these athletes showed up, competed hard, and brought home some phenomenal regional results.

Calling all Maine Track Clubs, Coaches, and Parents! 📣🌲✈️☀️
The hard work through the Association and Region 1 championships has officially paid off! Next stop: Norwalk, California.
From July 27 to August 2, the nation’s best youth athletes are gathering at Cerritos College (Falcon Stadium) for the 2026 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships. We are incredibly proud of the dedication our athletes have shown this season, and we want to compile our official USATF Maine roster to celebrate every single competitor from the Pine Tree State who earned their spot on the national stage!
Whether they are sprinting, throwing, jumping, or race walking, let’s make sure the whole community is ready to cheer them on.
