Alberto “Berto” Florez has been part of The Jump story from the very beginning.

He has already been a member of the 1000 Point Club since last season, but this post is about finally giving him the recognition he deserves. 💯🌹

Berto has been a league mainstay since day one. Season after season, he has shown up, competed, stayed loyal to the league, and represented what The Jump is all about. Toughness, consistency, respect, and love for the game. 🏀

This one is personal too.

Old Man Greco has known Berto since Berto was in 6th grade, and watching him grow from a young kid into the player and man he is today has been something special. There are players who pass through a league, and then there are players who become part of the league’s history. Berto is part of the history here. 🙌

Getting to 1000 points is not easy. Staying around long enough, competing hard enough, and producing consistently enough to reach that milestone says a lot about who he is as a player.

So even though he joined the 1000 Point Club last season, we are finally giving him his flowers now. Well earned. Well deserved. Long overdue. 🌹🏆
