What a day yesterday! Got a few days off of fishing and made the trip to Oklahoma for the last 2 days of there season and the lord blessed me with a good ol’ tom with a 9 and half inch beard without any calling or decoys. I went to a spot on the ranch with no scouting the day before that I had a feeling they would be in from seeing over the year and was some of the only water around. I didn’t hear any gobbling the evening before so I was a bit worried. I got to the spot the next day that evening about 3:30PM(yesterday) and saw 2 hens and they took off. I sat for a while and one came back and I watched her for over an hour. Then out of the blue at about 5:40PM 6 toms came in insanely quiet with 2 hens one by one and I got to watch each one walk by and the final one was the biggest beard and I took the shot and dropped him before he grouped up with the rest. This was my first turkey and I’m beyond blessed to have the opportunity to kill one in a different state plus it being a good one for my first.
Thank you Lord for letting me hunt these birds and getting to do this as a living. Turkeys marked off list now!

These fish are on FIRE right now‼️ The bite is getting better everyday. Got out at 6:30 this morning and we started on top water with no luck, then straight to work with the slabs the rest of the day for every fish caught. It was non-stop catching every drop and cast just about it was hard to keep up which is a good problem! Plus 2 bonus catfish for some good eating. We released 2x more than we kept!! I have weekdays and weekends opened May-August. The fishing for these striper-hybrids and white bass is lights out right now.

Nice 28” Striper pulled in this morning scouting. These storms have these fish moving all around and the fishing is on fire. The water temp will keep getting higher everyday and the bite will with it. The White Bass bite is great right now too seeing majority of 12-14” fish and catching plenty everyday.
