When you reach 200 meters (656 ft), you enter the ocean's twilight zone — an expansive world with almost no light.
It's so black that photosynthesis is no longer possible. The twilight zone is between 200 and 1,000 meters.
The record for the deepest dive by a human? 332 m (1,090ft).
Beyond this twilight region, at depths of 1000 m (3280 ft), you enter eternal darkness. This is the midnight zone. — an expansive world that leads down to abyssal plains.
These are reached at a depth of 4000 m (13,000 ft). But it doesn't stop there. Next comes the hadal zone at 6,000 m (19,000 ft). The deepest part of this zone is the Mariana Trench, which reaches 10,935 m (35,876 ft) deep — making it deeper than Mount Everest is tall.

While out hunting, remember to do your part to prevent wildfires. 🔥

Burn bans across Texas have gone up quite a bit this week. There are now 122 of Texas’ 254 counties under current burn bans, compared to the 111 counties last week. Please continue to refrain from using an open flame while enjoying time at Lake Limestone.

Continue to be aware of burn bans and other burning restrictions in your area. 🔥

Happy Fall Everyone. We have picked lots of fresh produce for tomorrow’s Farmers Market. Mkt Hours are 9:00-1:00. We would also like to welcome everyone out to our Corn Maze and Zinnia and Pumpkin Patch. Friday hours are 5:00-10:00. Saturday 10:00-10:00. Sunday 2:00-6:00. We are super excited to have Ryan Roberts out playing live music this Saturday evening 7:00-9:00.
