Well guys, that’s all for us. Thank you for your business over the years. Thank you for the friendships and the people that would just stop by to visit or show off photos, of their big catch! Selling bait and tackle was definitely my favorite part! It reminded so much of my grandparents bait shop, and was very special to me to have some of their same customers. You will truly be missed.

A new fishing pier is coming soon to Possum Kingdom Lake’s South D&D Park! 🎣
The current pier will be removed from service on May 6, and the new replacement pier is expected to be in place before the end of May.

Researchers are collecting data on hyperpigmentation/melanosis, a.k.a Blotchy Bass Syndrome, in freshwater bass species associated with a virus.

The virus has never been identified in humans or common domestic pets. As long as the fish are in good condition, they're safe to handle and eat if cooked properly.
