Holy Dog Catcher, Batman, it's Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
This dynamic duo of Batman (Charlie) and Robin (Buddy) are ready for Halloween... or for taking a bite out of crime. Either way, these two Cavachons (a cross between a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and a Bichon) are a couple of heroes on the move. When not keeping the airpark safe from the dastardly Catwoman or chasing down extra treats, these pair of smart and affectionate pups can be found snuggling up to their owners Carol and Rick Chapman.

Meet Maggie, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
Sweet Mags (whose real name is Magnolia Belle) is a precious 11-year old Westie who belongs to Sam, Diane, Lydia and Elizabeth Long. This cute little cotton ball is 11 years old. She is a true flower, as she was named after that famous and fragrant state flower of Mississippi. Maggie loves living in Pecan because it gives her plenty of time and space to patrol her yard, as well as chase deer, lizards and squirrels!

Meet Bentley and Max, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
These royal Shih-Tzu brothers, also known as "Sir Bentley" and "Lord Maximillian," belong to Bob Fisher. Unlike William and Harry their current British counterparts, they are extremely close brothers, even though they are from different litters. They are a tightly bonded duo that likes to sleep, play and walk together, as long as Max can lead the way. Bentley is the more regal of the pair, and doesn't like to get his paws dirty. Max, on the other hand, is the "court jester." If you see these members of doggie royalty having tea around Pecan, Bentley will always be in blue and Max in red.

Meet Izzie, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
Sweet Izzie is an 18-month-old mixed breed and an absolute precious addition to her family, according to owner Courtney Kinsey. Izzy enjoys running in the back yard and gazing at the deer... almost as much as she loves playing fetch and snuggling on the couch with her "mom." She is Courtney's daughter’s best friend and follows her all around the house. Izzie is also the family alarm clock as she jumps in bed and showers you with kisses every morning. This loving girl is very attentive and loves to observe the world through her beautiful green eyes!

New times are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Aug. 26-29. During these overnight hours, the front entrance will be inaccessible to exiting traffic, and residents must use the back gate.
Inbound traffic will continue to be managed during construction, and residents and guests should expect delays entering the property via Fall Creek Highway while construction is taking place. You are encouraged to use the back gate whenever possible.

Meet Oliver (right) and Dixon, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
While they may look like biological brothers, snaggle teeth and all, they are really just adopted siblings. But if you were ever around them, you wouldn't be able to tell a difference. Ollie is 12 and is a beagle/terrier mix with a little extra stuff tossed in for good measure. His favorite things include getting that good-to-the-last-drop of coffee out of the bottom of the cup and napping. While 7-year-old Dixon simply likes to snuggle... especially after his own shadow scares him! These brothers from different mothers belong to Madeline, Nolan, Melissa and Jon Musser.

Meet Alexander Purejoy Riley Horton, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
And since that name is a mouthful, friends and family just call him Alex. This 8-year-old black Lab is unquestionably the ruler of his house. He takes two walks per day and enjoys meeting and discussing the activities with his furry friends at the PAC walking trail. Food is the way to his heart. He retrieves the mail every day and brings in the newspaper (though not always the one belonging to his owner Jackie Horton.) But sometimes you have to put in a little extra work when treats are involved, right? A true soup hound at heart, his couch is in the living room close to the TV and kitchen, so no food-based activity escapes scrutiny. He helps his Jackie cook and gets a taste of nearly every dish before his owners. Absolutely no box of crackers or bag of chips can be opened without his approval, no matter how quietly you approach the cupboard. He' a dog who knows what he wants.

Meet Roma "Bear" Mayeux, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
Roma is a busy young girl who belongs to Cole, Erin and Philip Mayeux. Her daily activities include waiting on Cole's bus in the afternoon, helping Erin cook dinner, and sneakily attacking Philip from under the covers. In between those chores, she can be found dragging her toy moose around the house. This green-eyed feline has a lot of things on her "to do" list!

Meet Fitzgerald, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
Young Fitzy is 5-year-old Morkie who loves sofa loafin' on the back porch. And why wouldn't he, he get to watch golfers swear all day! When he is not being a love bug to his owners, Traci and Bruce Odom, he is playing with his beloved bacon ball... proof that bacon is an inter-species delight!

Meet Chance and Gracie, Pecan Plantation's Pets of the Week!
Gracie and Chance are a brother and sister pair of Yorkshire Terriers who don't even know they are dogs. Being a Yorkie is complicated, but it primarily comes with a lot of attitude, a heap of stubbornness, and oodles and oodles of love and joy. This pair follows the last of that statement to a tee. Gracie is nearly 3 and is the older sister, but Chance is right there behind her only one year her junior. This pair of sweet pups belongs to Melissa and John Casey.
