Hey guys, we are trying to help Stuart find the best home for this puppy. If you are interested please reach out.

From Stuart : I have an 8 month old American Bully, he needs a home immediately. He and my 8 year old pit got in a fight last week. Both went in for emergency surgery, both are doing well and recovering. My oldest is still with vet and won’t be home until next week. We think it’s best to let him go to avoid another outbreak. It was over a toy and it escalated before I could stop it. Sully is his name , he is an amazing dog, he is current on all shots, crated at night , and fixed. Potty trained! Angela and I are searching all avenues.

LTB has a few incredible members that will be competing in the San Antonio Classic this Saturday. Victoria Helms is our solo first time competitor, and will be competing in the women’s figure division. She has prepped tirelessly for months without complaint. Victoria says that she is grateful for the experience and to be part of such a supportive gym. She’s glad to have people in her life who see her potential and encourage her to step out of her comfort zone. Please join us in wishing her the best of luck as she steps on stage Saturday.

We had an exhilarating trial run of the new cold plunge this morning. We are excited for you guys to start trying it out. It will be available for use during staffed hours.

We have something COOL coming to LTB! We expect to have our new cold plunge up and running by this weekend. Multiple studies including those done by the military show a multitude of benefits from the use of the cold plunge at just 11 minutes a week. Some of most notable being reduction of inflammation and increased mental resilience. We will also be offering these awesome LTB towels for purchase. Stop by to get more info.

We want to highlight the inspirational transformation made by one of our hard working members,Aiden Jones. He has lost almost 60 pounds while finishing up his senior year of high school. We are so proud of the work he has put in and continues to put in every day. Aiden is coached by our very own Hayden Morley.

LTB Family, please congratulate Megan our next competitor hitting the stage in Dallas this weekend at the NPC Dallas Pro/Am Championships. This is Megan’s first time blessing the stage after a grueling 6 month prep. For those of you who don’t know Megan, she will be competing in the figure division and has been relentless in her posing training. Please wish Megan good luck on this final phase of her journey. Good Luck Megan, LTB STRONG!!!

Congratulations to all our 2023 graduates!

WHY? WHY? WHY? We get asked WHY we do contest prep training for our members and this weekend is exactly the reason WHY? It’s because it’s the right thing to do first and foremost, because it changes people’s lives, it propels people to shoot for the stars with any and all their journeys they decide to undertake in the future, it's because of the tears of joy that come streaming down knowing you just helped someone accomplish their dreams when they hit that stage knowing they have done something epic and elite, it's because of the 73 year old who has always wanted to be a bodybuilder and now is, it is because we put the smallest guy on stage and he became the crowd favorite, because an over 50 year old put on a routine that was a total show stopper, it is because of the love and camaraderie developed not just with us and their team competitors, but with all those bad asses on that wall, it's because THEY too are now a bad ass on that wall, it's because for one night they became untouchable, kings and queens with no boundaries to hold them back, it is because every so often you get that one, that anomaly and he walks on and dominates the show validating the process, it's because we love this sport and what it does to and for people, and it's because we love our members who become our family and what our gym means to them. That is WHY we do it. Thank you for all that believe in LTB and our trainers and staff.
The LTB Team ------- Todd, Jen, and Mandy

The Ronnie Coleman Classic was a huge success for every member of our LTB team. Each competitor is a winner the moment they complete prep and step on that stage. We are proud of each and every competitor regardless of their placing, because of the tremendous transformations both mental and physical they make throughout prep. That being said, LTB did bring home a lot of hardware from multiple overall wins on down the board. At LTB, we like to say that you can’t really call yourself a bodybuilder until you step on stage. Welcome to the club Alan, Marc, Rick, Michael, Daniel, Jake, John, and Angela. We are extremely proud of you. Thank you to every single one of you that came out to support these amazing competitors as they showcased their hard work today.

Prejudging is over and we are so proud of everyone. On to finals!

LTB trainer Mary Haller and two of her clients Angela Villarreal Gill and John Maverick will also be competing this weekend. This is the first competition for both Angela and John who are long time clients of Mary and long time LTB members. Please congratulate all three of them on their successful contest prep and wish them good luck this Saturday.

Jake Bartell is another one of our incredible competitors. His transformation is phenomenal. Jake has shown an extreme level of commitment and dedication to this contest prep. One month ago he broke two toes but still continued on with the process showing up to the gym with a boot on his foot to get his workouts in. Join us in wishing him good luck at his first competition this Saturday.

Photos from Lift the Bar Fitness's post 05/17/2023

Alan Cabrera is another one of our impressive competitors. He is our youngest competitor and probably the only one that was excited to do cardio. He put in the work with no complaints. Please wish him the best of luck as he steps on stage for the first time this Saturday at the NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic.

Photos from Lift the Bar Fitness's post 05/16/2023

Marc Knoerr is another one of our incredible competitors competing in men’s physique. His transformation is spectacular. Marc has kept his head down and quietly put in the hard work required of him without complaint every day. He wanted to compete as a challenge to himself, stepping out of his comfort zone and trying something new. His transformation proves that this was a success. Join us in wishing Marc good luck in his first competition this Saturday.

Photos from Lift the Bar Fitness's post 05/15/2023

Daniel Dunlap is another one of our amazing competitors. His transformation has been remarkable. Dan is a former power lifter and is no stranger to hard work. His job requires him to put in long days of strenuous physical activity. He showed up every morning at 5 am with a positive attitude and a few jokes to keep a smile on the faces of his fellow LTB family members. Please congratulate Dan on his success thus far and wish him good luck as he hits the stage for the first time this Saturday.

Photos from Lift the Bar Fitness's post 05/14/2023

Michael Roell is another one of our competitors that has made an extraordinary transformation. He will be competing in men’s physique. Michael started this prep shortly after finishing rehab for a shoulder surgery. He is a law enforcement officer and his job has required him to do some physically demanding training details during this prep. Michael didn’t let any of that keep him from meeting his goals. He was able to find a way to prep his food and get in his workouts while in the field. He is a perfect example of “Where there is a will, there is a way.” Please join us in wishing him the best of luck this Saturday at his first competition.

LTB has a group of outstanding competitors that will be competing in the NPC Ronnie Coleman Classic on May 20th.

Rick Meredith is one of those remarkable competitors. Rick is 73 years old and will be competing in men’s physique. Rick lives with Crohn’s disease which hasn’t stopped him from showing up to the gym every day at 5 am and executing his plan flawlessly while keeping his sense of humor and positive outlook intact. His dedication and commitment are an inspiration to so many. When you see Rick at the gym, please congratulate him on his success and wish him good luck at his upcoming competition.

LTB will be offering our discounted summer memberships for students again. 5/26-8/26 for $100, with no sign up fee. Any student under the age of 18 must bring a parent with them to sign up. Thanks!

To the individual who thinks first place or overall winner should not be awarded because they were the only one in that class, clearly has never competed… otherwise you would know that it’s impossible to tell just how many will show up. You have insulted the time dedication and sacrifices that they invested to get there. What do you propose they do after they have paid to enter that show; go home? What should she have told those family members and friends who showed up to support her? You should probably do a show first, win your class and be the overall winner, before you decide to make a negative comment. Don’t hate the player because she had the guts to show up. See you at nationals!!

First show in the books for Mandy!!! She represented LTB just as we knew she would, bringing home two first place trophies in women’s bodybuilding, but more important than that, Mandy grew bigger than she ever thought possible, not in physical size, but mentally. This is what this sport does for people. She is stronger than she has ever been. We are so proud of her, and proud of the LTB FAMILY that was there supporting her and encouraging her along the way. This is why we built LTB. Thank you to everyone who helped Mandy along her journey, she couldn’t have done it without you. Mandy you can now call yourself a bodybuilder on social media. LOL. You’ve earned that label.
